Have you been diagnosed with congestive heart failure?

 

You may be eligible if you:

• are 18 years or older

• are taking medication; either an ACE Inhibitor or Angiotensin receptor blocker(ARB) e.g. enalapril or Cozaar.

 

Do you have type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and recently had a heart attack or angina in the last 60 day?

 

You may be eligible if you:

• are 18 years or older

• are on at least one medication for diabetes, or failed diet and exercise therapy for diabetes.

 

Do you have type 2 Diabetes Mellitus?

 

You may be eligible if you:

• are on metformin and Actos(pioglitazone) in combination; or insulin with metformin and or Actos or insulin alone without adequate blood sugar control.

 

Are you taking medication to treat Diabetes TypeII?

 

You may be eligible if you:

• Are 18 years of age or older

• Diagnosed with Diabetes TypeII

• Currently taking a medication for Diabetes

 

Do you suffer with breathing problems?

 

You may be eligible if you:

• Are 40 years of age or older

• Diagnosed with COPD

• Must be a smoker or ex-smoker

 

Have you been diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation?

 

You may be eligible if you:

• Are 21 years of age or older,

• Currently taking a medication or require to take medication for Atrial Fibrillation
  

 

 

If eligible, for any of the above studies you will receive at no cost:

• Study-related physical examinations

• Study-related laboratory test

• Study medication

• Compensation for your time and travel
